That Lodge guy
There was discussion on triple M around him missing out on the prime ministers XIII, split between outrage and the other point stating he doesn’t fit with standards and wouldn’t be in line for a Kangaroos call out because of it so no point selecting for PMXIII. Spoke obviously about the NY incident but also pointed out that every club has moved him on, there was a bit of a ‘wink wink, nudge nudge’ moment about him leaving the Warriors and heavily implied it was related to POS leaving the club

Even though he may not have been selected for the Aussie team it’s good to see a player choose representing the Kiwis over Aussie. Would have a bearing if he was selected to play origin in the future too.
I thought Josh Papalli was named for Samoa. Still no mention of Xavier Savage he is also part Maori and Indigenous.

Interesting there's a few young centres who have played around 35-45 games that have really come in to their own this year - Kris, Timoko, Penisini. Really hoping the Warriors have Vailea and Berry killing it in the next 18-24 months

Haha you were right, that dickhead Paul Kent is furious that brown people are gonna be filling the origin sides.
Made an absolute goose of himself tonight

Actually insulting saying Suaalii is playing for Toa so he can play FB to show potential clubs his worth at FB.

Anyone with Polynesian blood know the pull you have to your parents home.

Lost respect for Kenty tonight.

Just need Tino to follow their lead. NRL 360 should be a laugh tonight.
The show should be renamed to grumpy old men. A few weeks ago the focus is on the finals not off field issues and they still find something to be upset about.

Tonight was funny. The last few years we've had players decide to play for either Tonga and Samoa instead of the Kiwis. It's a bit harder for New Zealand as we don't have the depth of Australia. It's what we have had to live with and as long as its not last minute like the last world cup.

New Zealand losing players hasn't raised any discussion. As soon as it happens to one up and coming player for Australia and its time for an overhaul.

Kent was bearable when Ikin was on 360 but since he left Kent just gets angry and yells over everyone to drive his point home while also having the worst takes possible. Just this year defending Stuart over the weak gutted dog comments, backing the Manly 7 because it's their "cultural beliefs" and bullied a guy on his radio show until he ended up quitting. He is a smug, arrogant prick who thinks he is held in high esteem in the game when it is quite the opposite

The aussies wanted this. They saw a trend with their PI players going to the islands and wanted to be able to access that playing group for origin now they’re realising the true value of the kangaroo jumper to polys. It means shit because they’ve treated the game like it. Let them suffer. But it’s fine while they’re representing the origin teams but once it’s mals turn to use the player pool he starts whinging when he doesn’t have access to those players. No wonder it’s so sweet to beat the kangaroos. Seeing them try every avenue to win without stepping on the field even though they will still most likely win the World Cup without needing the extra talent irks me.

And another thing to add it’s sad how they’ve treated the kangaroos. They have done nothing to build a potential brand that could have been similar to the all blacks in terms of the rugby league version. I’m not saying it would match but they have done nothing with the kangaroos to promote the game internationally, to grow the game. They should be trying to play at least 6-8 games a year. The aussies are so insular. The bloody wallabies keep losing the bledisloe for 20 plus year but they keep playing to promote the game internationally. Rugby league is so insular.
