I bear fresh tidings - not major news - but news
Lisone will apparently reject the warrington offer and stay with the warriors in 2020. This pleases me as he was one of more effective props in the 2nd half of the season.

Here is the article - some more scuttlebut on Green at the footer of the article

I take it the Green rumour was pure speculation or backup plan if Brisbane didn't get their man

I just want to thank whoever ripped through this thread and cleaned out all the chaff, and I hope that everyone respects the work done by keeping it clean of personal opinion on players and crap comments so that it stays readable.

Some recruitment news from the RSS feed - we've sign an international rep Lock! (though he's only 15)

Don't we love a Rotorua Boys High kid! A good nursery for sure, and the history of past pupils signing for the Warriors may be paving the way for others to want to do the same, but surely there is upcoming talent in other schools too!

I was just listening to a Radio Sport replay interview. An Aussie commentator said that the Bulldogs are current frontrunners for Luke Thompsons (superleague) signature.
There is also interest from the Titans and ourselves. Apparently we were are latecomers, probably because of the young fellas we have been chasing.
The Aussie mentioned about 700,000 per season, so Canberra don't have the cash.
No wonder the dogs are pushing so hard to increase salary cap relief for Forans injury.

Wayne Bennett has tried to sign this guy for a few years now and as coach of the pommy team must like what he sees.
Since the rabbits have signed Arrow, Mitchell and sounds like they are closing in on Addo Carr they mustn't have the sombrero space to sign him.
