Is that the super membership you are talking about Welly? I haven't signed for it but I think there is always an option isn't there? Did you upgrade your seat upstairs?
Ummm just got told I was upgraded to best available seat but I never saw my other seat ever so it makes no difference to me really...

We renewed our tickets but could have moved up a few more seats to get under cover, but just love our position and the surrounding fans. Surprisingly not a lot of rain throughout the season.

If you have been upgraded this week you will have a good seat.

Just changed my seats over from West Bay 13 to East Bay 29 - I was trying to get Bay 30 seats (above the tunnel) but that Bay is completely full already.

It's a bit sad to leave Bay 13 after 10 season but most of the crack up die hards left before last season so it was a bit dead and nowhere near as funny any more. Time for a change.

Welcome to Bay 29 Juju...

Hope youve got your defib ready as average age in the bay is about 75.
I hope they like swear words...

Bay 13 was pretty elderly too...

The Eastern Stand is a lot like the old terraces at Carlaw Park on a sunny afternoon. That is why the old guys like it. The original Eastern stand was designed for exactly the same reason to get the Carlaw Park diehards on side.

Why did you go for Bay 29 though?

I was hoping to get into Bay 30 - same bay I sat in for the double header and kiwis - just a good central location. Bay 30 couldn't accomodate my 4 seats though.
I actually enjoy being around those hearty old leaguies - they're pretty much always good value to watch a game with.

You don't mind getting wet? You could have come upstairs to Bay 39 with me.:D

I like to be close enough that the opposing team at least have a chance of hearing my insults.
Did you ever get to sit in the wooden bleachers at Carlaw Park? You would have been in heaven. They were low down and right beside the touchline.

The concrete terraces were actually quite a distance, probably 10 - 15 metres back from the fence for some reason. The wooden bleachers were in front of the old wooden stand and if your balance was good enough you could reach out and touch a player in the field.

Looks like the bookings are way ahead of this time last season and they haven't even opened it to the public yet.

Any idea of numbers yet?
I haven’t been contacted about renewal yet, come to think of it I never received my 2018 membership pack either...

They don't have membership numbers on the Warriors Kiwi site...yet. However I was able to get a peak at the seats already sold and there are not many prime seats i.e. a bay either side of half way still available. Luckily I already have my seats in Bay 39 but I would have been able to buy them in February this year. I think anybody waiting until February next year will be taking their chances. Public sales open next week so that should be an indication if they can sell out by Christmas.
