Thousand bucks sheesh!!! Thats a lot of coin. With the Mad Butcher tickets I'm looking at $1200. I get two passes so all up it'll be $1600. Won't be getting two specials as the missus isn't that hearty. Give it a go next season and if it lives up to expectations I'll renew...

When you look at what they throw in like a jersey, hat, a dinner and a function it isn't too bad. Would you be going to those anyway?

Yeah I get along to as many of them as I can. Went to the dine with the team at Fortuna and it was a great way to get stuff signed, get pics etc. Much better than trying to do so in the members tent. Too many people.

I'm expecting more than just what you named. Jersey, hat, dinner and a function and a name on a seat I haven't seen for 5 year for $800. Hmmm...

From what I can see it is going to cause a massive change from season holders in the old cheaper zones to the gold zones. So anybody buying late might get a poor choice than in previous seasons. If I have to get a shite seat I don't know if I would want a super.

Spend the extra $200 and sit in the lounge. Always warm and dry...

Not numbered or named seats but I've never had a problem getting any...
If I have it right all those good seats will be the same price as the lower levels, or do I have that wrong.

Excuse the ignorance Welly but is that for the SPL Lounge or another lounge?

As I understand you will get to pick your seats, from what is left over after existing members have had their choice to upgrade or buy more. That worried me a bit because the seats are cheap and all the same price and their seems no cap on the amount existing members can buy.

When the Kiwi test tickets went up for grabs I was on the computer first thing about 6am and my seats had gone. The guy who sits next to me and has had his seats for years had the same problem. You cannot tell me the Kiwis tests are that popular.

I had a similar thing happen last year when I tried to buy tickets for the Paul Kelly concert. He has a cult following at best but the amount of seats sold early was amazing. The actual concert had many empty seats.

I think the scalpers get in early on the best seats reckoning at worst they will get their money back on Trade Me later.

The Warriors have a way around that of sorts with membership tags instead of tickets, but with scalpers where there is a will there is a way.

So do you have seats somewhere in the stadium, a SJL ticket and find an empty seat upstairs during a game...or do I have that wrong?

I understand that membership renewals are way ahead of last season, although the only sales that can go through right now are last years season ticket holders, and there were not a hell of a lot of those to be fair.

It seems the season ticket holders from last season have taken full advantage of the cheaper prices and have migrated to the popular seats upstairs, and who can blame them.

The strategy seems to have been to add value to full season memberships, and seems to have worked so far.

The next group allowed to buy are 2018 partial season ticket holders who get first choice from Monday of what was left over from the full season members upgrading. My guess is many will get a shock at what is available compared to this time last year.

From now until the end of the month anybody can pay a season membership fee and go onto a list queue for first crack at the seats left over from the partial season members.

My advice would be for anybody who wants a decent seat to get on that list now.

It turned out the guys and girls who got those seats were diehard Kiwi fans from all over the place. It just goes to show what the potential market is for this game.

Is that the super membership you are talking about Welly? I haven't signed for it but I think there is always an option isn't there? Did you upgrade your seat upstairs?
