Starting this up as all injury news will be for the 2015 season.

Ben Henry had surgery on his knee. Not sure how long he's out for but he is running so he might be good for the start of the season.

David Fusitua's shoulder injury is all clear now.

No word on how Glen Fisiiahi is going with his shoulder surgery. Nerve damage is a funny injury.

Charlie Gubb who had a hairline fracture on his fibula is all healed up.

Tuimoala Lolohea who suffered a hamstring injury during the 2014 NYC Grand Final is fine and will be good to start pre-season training.

Konrad Hurrell just had surgery this week after being delayed by ACC. Its an injury he has had for ages but has only been fixed now. Said to be minor surgery so he is expected to be fit for the Auckland Nines. He will still be able to train to some degree.

Still have some players in the 4 Nations who have to come through unscathed. Rest of the team start pre-season this Monday (03/11/14) which will just be a barrage of tests to see where they are in terms of fitness, injury, weight, skin folds, etc so I'll know a lot more after that...

Long live the Rainbows and Butterflies
no word on Manu and why he was held out for a minor injury concern at the start of the 4 nations?
I feel for the Fish, he looked so promising, let's hope he gets sorted so he can carve up that right wing again before he gets overlooked by all these amazing youngsters I.e Lolohea

Also I've believed for some time now that Manners must have forged iron joints and tendons of steel cable... He just never gets injured, it's amazing how some players are unlucky or just not not built for for the big hits...

Warriors injury news from the Four Nations...

League: Leuluai out of final

He's been one of the best Kiwis in the current Four Nations tournament, but Thomas Leuluai won't be turning out in Wellington this weekend.

Hooker Thomas Leuluai has been ruled out of the Kiwis line-up for Saturday's Four Nations final against Australia at Westpac Stadium.

The Warriors utility, who was in the starting XIII for the wins against Australia and England over the past three weeks, sustained a shoulder injury - as well as a badly gashed face - during his match against England in Dunedin.

Forgot about Ben Matulino's old knee injury. This from an article first posted by Ranger Ranger in the Preseason thread...

HARD-hitting Warriors forward Ben Matulino wishes he was back in his home town of Wellington this week.

Instead of being in the New Zealand camp, preparing for the Four Nations rugby league final against Australia, he is in the grind of pre-season training.

The flip side is he’s been able to have two months off since the end of the NRL season to get a problem knee and other niggling injuries right.

“That’s the longest rest I’ve had,” he said.

“Usually, it’s just four weeks and then it’s straight back into it.”

The 25-year-old Matulino was among the first contingent of players back as the Warriors began their off-season schedule last week.

Those on Four Nations duty are not expected to return for several weeks.

Matulino had a small operation mid-year to clean up the knee, but still went on to total 20 matches during a season that came after a World Cup.

As seen in the pic below he is training but cant confirm when he'll be fit to play.

And just on two members of our injury list, Ben Henry and Glen Fisiiahi, theyre at least running around and training so thats good news. Still no time on when they'll be fit to play...

Shaun Johnson is being put on ice in the Kiwis camp. Got a knock to the hip. Sure its just precautionary.

Seen pics of Manu Vatuvei with his groin iced up. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Also Konrad is back training...

David Fusitua had surgery on his shoulder. No real idea when he'll be back but he doubts he'll be ready for the 9's and is hopeful of being fit for the start of the NRL season...

So Fusitua and Fish are both question marks for round 1? That could leave the cupboard a little empty. Suppose Lolohea would be in line for the spot if they were both out.

Or Allwood.

God I hope Ngani isn't our stop-gap. He is needed at centre, inside Manu. Let Tui or Allwood take the job.

And I guess that ends the "Manu-to-the-forwards" debate for a few weeks (hopefully).

David Fusitua tore the cartilage on his shoulder. His status has now been updated as indefinite. Was told earlier it was Round 1 but when I pushed him he admitted that he'd be lucky to be ready for Round 1. Still doing limited training. Hopefully makes a speedy recovery and makes the first round...
