Lord Gnome of Howick MBE would win in a landslide if done per post, so a honourable mention to him.

All this love for the team, a return to our spiritual home, opposition in turmoil - I predict 40 point loss!

Well I for one love hearing what's happening behind close doors, and Mt. Wellington is probably one of a couple who will actually come on here and say what he's heard for the benefit of us. The day people like Mt. Wellington stop becoming word of mouth will be a sad day in hell. Then we'd all be speculating, and that will not be good. Keep it up Mt. Wellington, you have my support 100 percent.

mt.wellington analysis of the players after we smashed the Raiders in Canberra. Did the 3 tries we conceded at the end hurt us at the end of the season or what?
Thanks Raiders for letting us kill another hoodoo with you (Eden Park and Canberra Stadium).
Was one of those games where the players were lining up and clamouring to be the next to score. The Warriors were superb. Clinical performance and didnt show an ounce of sympathy to the hapless Raiders.
Fantastic to see a few maligned players do well and shut up their critics. At least for one week.
Feleti Mateo was in everything early on. Some will focus solely on his single error. Did what we have been wanting by taking on the line then looking for the offload. Two try assists were the result.
Manu Vatuvei the Dumb Dumb had some silly passes under pressure go astray but when you score a hat trick you can be forgiven two errors.
Chad Townsend looked more settled in the main pivot role. Didnt try overplay his hand and was effective at the line. Kicking game was much much better and he added the needed extra points with the goalkicking. Way better performance and left me feeling a little more secure about the possible loss of Shaun Johnson for the next game.
Dane Nielsen was again solid and actually played his best game for us in over a season. Bar the try assist to the Raiders. Been copping it unfairly left, right and centre lately but he can play and today was proof of that. Still see David Fusitua as a better option in the longterm but Dangers not a bad option when we need him. Dont see Fusitua coming back next week.
Thomas Leuluai had a useful game. Been unfairly bagged but IMO he will only get better and better. Two try assists and made some handy breaks. Was solid on defence as well.
Also glad to see Sione Lousi have a good game as a lot around here dont rate him. His error rate can influenece peoples opinions but I still maintain that he is a good player who brings much needed aggro to our team.
Was happy for Sam Rapira to get a double. Doesnt get many and will be on cloud nine tonight.
Simon Mannering had a great game as well and was a menace at the Raiders line. Made 131 metres at the last count.
Not really happy that the Raiders got up on the scoreboard but dont blame Cappy for playing only 12 men in the last 5 minutes. We have way bigger fish to fry and the game was well in the bag by then. Talk of the for and against is pointless if we dont have our best team on the field. The bigger picture is the next game. Not one we were winning by 54 points. If Cappy left Sam Tomkins or Konrad Hurrell out there with a niggle and they picked up season ending injuries there would have been a bloodbath on here. Some bitches will never be happy.
As well as the Warriors played the Canberra Raiders were simply pathetic. Weak showing from them and an embarrassment to their fans and themselves. On the bright side it only further exposes Sticky as the fraud he is.
Still a bit to work on for next week but great to get such a comprehensive victory...

Fantastic win, the boys were just awesome across the park. Some of the players are really starting to stand up and be counted.
Whatever this coach is doing different is gold, bottle it and make sure the players take it with their usual supplements.
On a personal sad note, I lost a very good friend on Friday. Someone I met through the Warriors when I got my first season tickets 17 years ago. My wife and I have sat next to him through thick and thin at the Warriors, through rain and shine since then. He was a '95 original season ticket holder and was an absolute Warriors fanatic. He and his wife would go to all the grade games before the first grade game every week. The sad thing, is that he never got to see the team win at Eden Park, he went to every game there, and he hated the place tooHe will be sorely missed, and it won't be the same on game day with him not there. RIP Larry, will miss you mate.

This isn't a new thing, the team used to wear earplugs during Elliot's half time speeches.
