You'll be able to set up the betting for the whole year now!

Reckon they should have released the full list at the time they announced the shoulder charge ban to deflect some of the bad press.

I might be just slow but why have we got Parramatta? Is it because we both sucked this year?

Well, we always play every other team at least once but: We probably got lumped in with Parramatta, Penrith, Sydney Roosters so we'll have to play those turkeys twice and won't get to play the glamour teams - ie the top 4 from 2012 Storm, Sea Eagles, Bulldogs, Souths - twice...

That's my pick, anyhow. The only game against the Storm will be the Anzac Day game (Thursday this year) at AAMI Stadium. Will be very happy to be proved wrong, though.

NRL to go Nationwide

Rugby League will be played from coast to coast across Australia and New Zealand with NRL games scheduled for Darwin, Cairns, Mackay, Mudgee and Perth, with the NRL draw to be released tomorrow on NRL.com having an obvious focus on regional venues and non-traditional areas.

The focus will be highlighted in a historic Round 17 as the game spans Australia with games scheduled to be played in Perth, Darwin, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra all on the same weekend as the NRL looks to promote Rugby League nationwide.

The Bulldogs are set to take another game to Mackay, where hometown hero Ben Barba electrified the local crowd this season by setting up one of the tries of the year, a 107 metre effort finished off by Josh Morris.
The Rabbitohs will play games in Perth and Cairns, Parramatta will play in Mudgee, the Titans will take a game to Darwin, the annual Country v City clash will be hosted in Coffs Harbour, while Australia will play in the Nation’s capital for the first time as part of their centenary celebrations when they take on New Zealand.

NRL Interim CEO, Mr Shane Mattiske said it was an opportunity to take games to other markets and showcase Rugby League:

“These are games that are going to generate a lot of enthusiasm,” Mr Mattiske told NRL.com.

“One of the objectives of the strategic plan is to expand the presence of the game through the placement of matches in regional and new markets and we are certainly seeing some examples of that in this year’s draw.

“We are seeing a growing appetite for Rugby League in all areas and we are looking for more opportunities to give more people access to the NRL.”

The first 20 rounds of the NRL draw will be released first on NRL.com on Friday at 11am.

Rugby League will be played from coast to coast across Australia and New Zealand. The Warriors confirmed earlier that at least one of their home games will be played outside of Auckland. I take the 'coast to coast' statement to mean they will play a home game in the South Island. Hate to miss out on a home game at Mt. Smart but happy to see a game go there. If Dunners sells out during the trial match I expect them to go back there.

First perdiction for the new season, nice one. TBH I expect this to be a pretty fiery game with both teams having new coaches, new combinations and both teams wanting to impress their respective coaches. Ricky Stuart is great at getting teams all fired up but it soon dwindles to a faint ember as time goes on. Cant wait anyway...

TBC must be the NZ home game.
And we're playing on a Sunday pretty much every week. No surprises there...

We do get a Friday game - against the Tigers Rd 19.

Not surprised that a top-drawer opponent like the Bulldogs is the "non-Auckland" game.

The Warriors link has less details in some areas than the NRL link, where the Warriors have written 'TBC' in a few of the earlier rounds, the details are present on NRL.com

I've edited mt wellington's OP and posted the draw using all info from nrl.com and warriors.co.nz combined

I don't know what you guys think - but I actually think we've got a pretty good deal from what I've seen:

- Start of the season against Parra - I'd feel pretty confident of a win over them, which will get the boys warmed up into the season nicely.
- We get Cowboys and Rabbitohs successively at home, early in the season, which will give us a huge chance to beat, in my opinion, two of the favourites for the comp.
- We get Titans at home followed by the Dogs at home - get a win over the Titans and it puts us in a great position to get a very important 2 points off the premiership favourites.
- Get the Broncos at home during the Origin period
- Get the Bunnies twice, who are a side we always go well against - our best game last year was the flogging of the Rabbitohs at home
- Get the Tigers at Allianz stadium (unusual isnt it?) - taking the parochial crowd factor out of the equation
- Storm and then Sharks at home, great chance to beat two definite (well probably for the Sharks) top 8 sides
- We get the Panthers, Titans, Roosters, Raiders twice, all very winnable games

Think we have a pretty good deal, all up.
