love it mate, reading is the bees knees!
I feel privileged my parents urged me to read, absolutely the best referral I ever got! To read Dickens (my favourite), Tolstoy, Courtney, Duff, Clancy, Robbins, Greene, Crump… The library is so underrated!
A bit lost for words really! Welcome aboard JFH, how good.
Geez the club really has turned a corner in the last 18 months, it seemed damned near impossible to believe we would be here 2 seasons ago under the stewardship of Nathan Brown!!! A massive wrap to the club and and its administration in...
I thought the blame lay with the halves in continually feeding the wrong player or the wrong side of the field on tackle 3/4 for the first 30 minutes of the 2nd half, was really surprised coach O’Brien didn’t sort that out pronto actually! Certainly played into our hands.
If I were a Knights...
Stephen Crichton is woefully underused, he should be their #1 and have his hands on the ball 1 to 2 times a set, and how Salmon plays 80 over Curran is mindboggling.
Agree with all in sundry that was a very hard watch.
Not ideal, however great for Lussick to have another week in the box seat cementing those combinations and timing that will be important as the year progresses.
Been for a walk to clear the head and still flat as fuck, that loss really hurt.....can only imagine how the players feel!
Question. Tohu and Berry (he is a deadset good footballer, very impressed with his progression) have to undergo HIA and I am positive both are from accidental head knocks...
Storm will have drained a lot of energy in beating the Panthers last week, especially given it is the first week so the bodies will be sore and no real miles in the legs yet to pull you thru.
One week ago we were all pretty bullish on our chances this year, the loss to a determined Sharks side...
Deeply disappointing result...Sharks definitely wanted the win more though.
As a spectacle they need to deal with players constantly being in the referees ear over every call, it is an ugly look.
Watched a you tube clip yesterday with an incredible trio in Goldie, Punter and Stephen Fleming at the NZ golf open, well worth the watch.
I have always been impressed by Punters cricket intelligence, it is generally a step ahead of the play and highlights why he was so successful! Fleming...
So it would seem Marty Taupau will be a late addition in the Broncos XVII this weekend at the expense of Xavier Willison, would seem a good time for us to make some polite enquiries with a big fuck offer to the young man.
Even if it is just to fuck with the Broncos salary cap, offer an increased amount of say $250k per season (safely knowing he is unlikely to leave Brisbane) to drive up his price and eat into the overall cap space of the Donkeys.
