Really happy for SJ and the team to go out on a high. That was a thrilling finish and it makes it so much easier to look back on his career in a positive light.
The younger and less experienced players seemed to provide a bit of spark, Taine, Luke, and Ali. They should all retain their spots...
So Geronimo Doyle comes on for Ben Farr at 55:36, and from this point the Warriors score 3 tries vs a 1 point field goal (16-1).

*I wasn't watching the game.
Only time I can remember a run like that was off Egan for this nice try... @40:55:

Would really like to see more of our backs/halves running support like that, and looking for offloads.
I've been keeping a sheet following the halves pairings and results. Looking at it this way seems to shows some trends.
Started the season quite well, two close losses to top four contenders, followed by 3 wins and a draw. I think this was an adequate start to the season. When Metcalfe was...
Onside...
But how did they clear this so fast... definitely hand around the ball, but the bunker okayed it after one quick look.
Just one of those many 50/50 calls that go against and deflate the squad.
Hoping for SJ and the fans in attendance that it's a good game and send off for one of the club's greats.
I was thinking of getting tickets for this one and travelling, well before we knew it would be his last. I'm annoyed that I didn't do it now.
Cheers SJ!

Seems like every Warriors coach wants to try this back to basics bullshit? It's boring to watch and when mistakes happen it makes the players look dumb.
At desperate times in games this season the team has shown they can make shit happen, but it's usually too little, too late.
Injuries aside...
I had a quick look on Youtube to see what side he was playing on in each game:
