I think it is more a point of at what money is Brown an asset vs a liability to our side. He'd probably be double the price of Metcalf.
The Eels are in a hole, perhaps spending nearly 2 million on first choice halfs is a big part of that.
Not that I actually believe any of this.
We'll see what our outside backs make up is.
If we get it wrong it could be another Roosters game where they just strung a few passes wide early on each play and cut our flank to ribbons. Titans have the speed to do it brutally if our guys aren't singing from the same song sheet out there.
I asked in the game day thread, but can someone explain why the NRL does not allow the marker not square call to be challenged? The Warriors clearly would have if they could have.
I hate that some penalties and six agains have no recourse
Any team gets managed by the ref when they go more than two scores up - it has been happening since everyone moaned about the blowouts the comp was getting two seasons ago.
We don't seem to be good enough to defend it.
We were noticeably frustrated tonight too, which made it snowball. Lost...
It's my boy's birthday today so I took him to the Hurricanes v Chiefs for his first stadium experience. First time I've watched union in years.
NRL/the Warriors have nothing to worry about!
We have had a fair few games like this against the Storm over the years (in between the 50 point drubbings). I'd love to see our sin-binning and penalty count against them.
You know coz they are such a clean-cut side and all
Niukore really adds what we have been missing on that edge.
I'm fine with Egan not drawing the penalty for staying down (if it is consistent), but that grubby Hughes screaming HIA
