I wonder if Stacey will use Brandon Smith in that role too with JMK coming on leaps & bounds in recent years.
I know he see's himself as an out & out #9 though. I cracked up recently when Clarkey's RL did a best NZ 17 & had him at #14 so his dad sprayed the author online 😂
A mate went to a sponsors lunch yesterday & RTS was running freely. Might not be in the mix this week by looks like he'll be back before the listed Rd 17.
I've got a vid of him doing a one on one with a coach chasing balls but no idea how to upload it. Will post if someone can upskill me @tajhay
This is from a 2018 article, which was coincidentally the last year he won Lock of the Year. Goes to show he is a disciplined individual who didn't put the cue in the rack once he signed his long term deal. Lots of athletes do have immediate success when switching to something like this but for...
Are you referencing literature written by a democratic socialist about the dangers of capitalist and conservative beliefs system without seeing the irony?
Have you even read the book? The CliffsNotes at least?
There's a guy on Facebook who uses the same rhetoric & has been asked if he's Dutchy, which he denied, but I think Marty Berry got picked ahead of him back in the 80's or maybe Rocco rooted his daughter then ghosted her. Either way he's a man obsessed. Sad thing is that if you exclude all the...
7 of those tries were on the Wing for true context.
He had one of the best debuts for the Warriors in recent history but if I remember correctly when he was up for renewal we already had Hiku, Pompey, Maumalo, Fusitu'a, RTS & Perham locked in for multiple years so it was more about circumstances...
81 games of Reserve grade (would've been over 100 if 2020 wasn't abandoned) before he finally cracks it. Recently turned 26 so could still push out a relatively long NRL career. Great perseverance
Gave up a long time ago.
Let me guess, they still devote 10 minutes each week wanking on about Berry being our "achilles heel" & another 5 minutes claiming ref bias?
DWZ is the top of my list. Thought that we were so desperate when we went out of our way to sign a guy that could occasionally do something extraordinary but mainly just an error ridden player whose spacial awareness was so poor he'd get lost on a footy field.
Great to see Bunty make an important contribution in attack yesterday to go along with his usual decoys & tidy defensive work.
I like stats but they don't take into consideration the intangibles. Case in point is Bunty.
In the 4 games he's started we've been behind in 3 of them when he gets...
The weird thing is while we've won 3 out of 4 with him starting this year we've been behind when he's been subbed off in 3 of those 4 too. The team have a negative points differential when he's on the field but he's a bit of a lucky charm
I think TMM & SJ will be named as our halves pairing but I believe CHT is our best left edge half which would throw a big ass spanner in the works if I was a selector. Egan & CHT's close friendship might also mean that the left side get some ball even if SJ is calling for it the loudest
Looks incredibly strong. I'd like to see them use this as an opportunity to get big minutes into Laban's legs as he's played bugger all minutes this season.
Geronimo Doyle should be in the selection mix too after his head knock the other week so Hanson might be the guy to make way.
Anyone know...
Great use of the bench today.
When Walker went off was that the first time Barnett has been used at Lock for us? Great to see that rather than the default option of Jazz.
Ford must've played a fair few minutes in the middle too
Plenty of folks in here, apart from you, have been pumping up his tyres for a fair while now Sup.
The kids spoke really well in the post match too. Now we just have to offer his twin an opportunity
The way the NRL site lists the teams isn't always an indication of what side of the field they'll play, as shown by Ford wearing #11 regardless of his edge, but jeez I hope they don't run Pompey next to Kosi on the left again!!!!
