Jeez that’s ugly lol. Game plan is generic now teams have numbered up on that side makes it easy to defend. Not enough dominant tackles, play the ball is slow, wingers are dumb, TMM is invisible.
The momentum was lost when they lost Metcalf.
For me there are particular moments in the game they lose energy and concentration. Becomes a common theme with warriors team. The hype around premiership chances may have got to them and fans as well. For me I’m confident they will improve but will it be in time to make the top 8 I don’t know.
That was tough. Dragons manned up and they were awesome. I don’t know if it’s a fluke from them but they played well.
Just got lazy and they were dominated with the bigger pack.
Montoya out Pompey in. That’s all
I choose Leka Halasima. Slept on throughout the league world like a lot of the Warriors jrs after the U20 days. But damn there’s a touch of Kikau and Fifita about Halasima.
I like the mongrel that Sifakula has which has been a long time coming from a Warriors jr.
With Manly trying to get rid of Josh Schuster? Anyone interested? A bit of a lazy player. A brilliant ball player but lacks on defense. Doesn’t do the tough stuff. But that can change under the current regime at the Warriors. Could also suit the Pennies.
I know people saying Souths were horrible but tbh the Warriors made them play horrible! Penrith have done this for years. They had the Storm on the ropes! It only took a piece of brilliance to lose the game.
One concern I do have is how they play in the rain. What changes. This was one concern...
Even some of the young guys in the pathways teams are clued up! They don't sound like clowns Ala Reece Walsh etc etc. So professional in front the media and humble as.
Laban is set for a huge future in the Wahs jumper. No doubt is a reincarnation of SK.
Just on Laban. Absolutely deserve a first grade debut. During the trials he just looked fitter and his defense was on!!
Other prospects Sifakula, Mau'u, Halasima, Leataua also Ieremia-Toeava the future is so good for the Warriors.
Hopefully we can keep the likes of Luke Hanson and Taylan Egan.
