I think even if he works hard and has the ability to get to a decent level at centre, we don't have the time this year so that idea's a write off now, like others said either 1 or cup/extended bench

In the case of Berry, it's unpredictable what injury he'll get, but by jove an injury he shall get in quick time (not wishing injury... it just is what it is with him unfortunately)

That is not a good looking stat, but our teams have only played TWICE in Auckland since 2019 though. They beat us in Auckland in 2022 and 2025, but we haven't played in Auckland other those two times since 2019.
That said, they have the wood on us overall in recent years.
Hope we are practising stopping their offload this week and making sure our defensive line is tight and offer no half gaps.
