My worry this game is the emotional comedown.. we left everything on the field against the Storm. Just hoping that considering we lost last start at home we fire up again

Might be another question answered, when the intensity inevitably comes down a bit this weekend can the current halves combo still produce the goods?

Or maybe the Melbourne game is the turning point and the key moment of our 2026 season

The cools heads of Capewell and potentially Barnett would be a welcome return to counter any emotional comedown.

titans aren't on a two game winning streak. They lost to the broncos convincingly and then beat a severely injury hit Eels team that was already coming 16th last week that then lost two key forwards through HIA in the same game. They are certainly better than last year but let's not pretend they are coming into this game on a hot streak.

Odds aside, this is a game we should win comfortably if we are serious in this comp. We have the clear advantage up front and that is where this game will be won given the wet and dewey conditions expected on Saturday. I think the team will have learnt from the tigers game that you cannot take anyone lightly in this comp. Especially this mob who as you point out have had success against us in recent years.

I was going to ask the same question and thought it was cause I had my Centre numbers and corresponding sides wrong after looking up last weeks team list and seeing it be the same.

Titans have a red hot backline but games are won in the forwards. If our forwards front up the Titans will be competitive but our guys will have them under pressure on the back foot. Be accurate in passing to avoid intercepts. Make them play out deep in their corners.

Absolute truth! 3 straight home (Mt Smart) losses to the Tits dating back to 2022 so need to keep the focus. UTW!

CNK on the reserves makes me nervous. I hope Webby doesn't make the same mistake as the tigers game and drop Ali at the last minute. If CNK has to come in, swap him for Taine, not Ali. Not that Taine has deserved to get dropped but we all know that CNK as a center doesn't work.
