He contracted till next year? rugby 360 comp hasnt gained too much traction yet
DWZ is too, but it just feels unlikely to me that AKP comes here as depth if he does? Interesting looking at DWZ contract information that there seems to be a mutual option for 2027, which means he’d be available to negotiate another contract in November. Ideally he’s the one that makes way rather than RTS

Well done to Roger.

I think recent memory plays a part in these awards. Roger had a cracker mid season and late season form. Erin started with a bang but lost a bit of form midway and then became the dependable player he is. Over the full term Erin was better, but Roger missed early games too.

Why on earth did Erin only play 37 mins against Panthers?

Erin would be a nomination for NRL lock of the year. I dont think Roger would make the noms for Winger of the year

Yeah great point, I wanted to bring this up in the post match.....why did Erin play so few minutes especially when his first stint he was so good?

He must have been hurt? Surely, otherwise playing TMM at 13 is just sad (I like TMM and want him in somewhere)

As for RTS....congrats, you were my pick on the back of your play from the eye test and historical stats from the wing.....when we were at our worst, you delivered. Certainly one of our best ever players and this year has cemented your Warriors comeback as a big success.

It was logical to try him at centre, that's where they played him in rugby and we had a bit of a gap there but I'm glad they saw he was going to be more effective on the wing and he delivered big time. A prime year from a legend.

In saying that, I love Erin Clarke and was disappointed he was off the field so long v Panthers.....I had no idea he was that good.....just an outstanding season and hope he gets Dally M 13 which I think is a decent chance.

I really wish he'd stay on for another year. I'm sure they'll be more eloquent posts but he really lead the team through some trying times. He really brought a professionalism to the team we diden't have before. Our (IMO) best ever fullback. I'm sure he'll smash it out there with jazz for a long while.

An even bigger reason to win it this year!

I saw this discussed on a podcast last night. Didn't see anything official or listed here so thought it was the usual journos getting 1+1=7.

He is still performing even getting up there in age for an NRL player and especially for an outside back.

It has been great having him at our club. When he first signed I remember the reaction. Hell yeah. He was great at fullback, the surprising part was his defence, especially some of those great try-saving tackles.

Similar reaction in 2023 when he signed to come back.

Hopefully he leaves a legacy at the club. Especially in terms of professionalism, keeping yourself fit, doing the little things. The more players that leave a mark like that the more likely we will keep high standards and eventually get success.

Or we win this year and send the veterans off as winners.

I can say I was hopeful you would be here next year as I feel you still have a lot to offer, but not to be! In saying that, thank you so much for some of the greatest Warriors moments and memories in Wahs history, funnily enough the 2 that truly standout were try saving tackles, not the best step in the game. You are a legend and will be sadly missed, but again truly thankful for what we got and at your peak the greatest in the game!
A premiership this year RTS, lets get it done.
Wakefield, you lucky bastards, enjoy!

Looking forward to following Rog in Superleague. Wakefield are battlers, really need that player to come in and lift the spirits and standards, Roger will certainly do that off field.

Most of us would be happy to have Roger back at the Warriors when he hangs up the boots, too good of a role model to not.

He still has a few tricks in the bag eh, it would be quite exciting if Wakefield play him at fullback. If nothing else their forwards will get a rest coming out of their end, from there you can build a platform to compete eh.

I feel sorry for the Wakey Fans that got up at 7am to watch Roger play his worst game in a few seasons (he has one in him every blood moon.

If they are visiting here - please check out the Warriors vs Roosters game one of this seasons highlights, Roger is gold-you haven't bought a lemon...the guy can play still and is a rock....on and off the field his efforts are legendary.
