Super interesting about how Jacko was thinking about going back to carpentry, then along came Jesus H. Webby.

So Webby robbed Jacko the opportunity to be the Messiah?

His recruitment strategy is essentially him looking the bloke in the eyes and saying You're very special, and here's why...

“Jacko/Lukey/Tanah/SJ, you’re my only begotten son…”

50 Dally M points later…

Interesting points:

- Was told at Dragons that 'he wasnt a first grader'
- Met with Webby who told him things about his game he didnt even know
- Asked about future contracts etc "im very happy here at the moment"
- Has actually bought a house here
- Asked if he is a Milwaukee or DeWalt man, says he "has a Milwaukee set waiting for me when I get back home"

I wouldn't read too much into the comments. You can neither say I'm out of here ASAP nor I never want to leave. Both are bad for your negotiating position.

When asked 2-3 yrs ago what he does for hobbies he was like..um..um...play golf with wado?

Last year i think it became hanging out with partner

Now they bought a house? partner is probably kiwi? I doubt he's moving back, this is his home now

Absolutely shocking comment to say to players they aren’t good enough

Who was coaching Ford at the time ?

His name wasn’t Nathan Brown was it????

My uncles nephew is Finau Latu (was at the dragons, now at the dogs) and he was having a yarn to me about how poorly they treated him basically blocking any potential progression to first grade as he wasn’t a favourite among the coaching staff. There was a few other younger players who were given similar treatment as well who have left I.e Tamale. Obviously different times to compare as Ford is much older than Finau but looks like nothings changed.
