Spotted by the Warriors while playing Bartercard Cup for the Brothers team in 2003. He would make his debut that year in Round 13. After 3 seasons of sporadic appearances for the Warriors he would head to Cronulla in 2006 where he would be convicted of assaulting a female and sentenced to 8 months periodic detention. As a result of his conviction he would have his contract with the Sharks terminated and deregistered by the NRL.

After serving his sentence he would play for the Wildcats for 5 seasons before returning to Auckland and playing club footy.
