Duane Mann, part of the famous Mann league family, started as a Glenora Bear junior. Was selected for the very first Mate Ma'a Tonga International team in 1986. Moved to England to play for the Warrington Wolves in 1989 before being signed by the Auckland Warriors. Returned home and played for the North Harbour Sea Eagles who he captained to win the Lion Red Cup. Played in the Warriors first game in his hooker position but didnt get re-signed after that first season.
