Born in Auckland but raised in Christchurch. Part of the Canterbury team coached by Frank Endacott that dominated local league in the early 90's. Was signed by the Steelers in 1992 where he played 3 games before returning to NZ to play for Canterbury. Went to England for 2 seasons before returning home to sign with the Warriors where he scored one try in the 8 games he played. Returned to Christchurch after retiring from professional league.
