Yeah, cos no Sea Eagles player would ever try something less than 100% pure and snow white. I actually agree that Shaun shouldn't have played up, if he did.
Probably learnt last week after he got straight up after getting that elbow straight in the mush and the ref was going to let it slide until the bunker got involved......i think if he had milked that one more Latrell definitely wouldve got 10 (shouldve anyway)

Then again, milk it too much and your off the field with a suspected HIA......fine line i guess lol

Their fans are salivating for the return match calling this one a WWE style manufactured result for the golden boys ( us apparently lol) and we won’t get the same ‘preferential treatment’ at 4 pines
Yep saw that too.... mind you round 24's a couple of months away and a lot can happen between now and then.. sounds like sour grapes on their part.
Anyway we have plenty of other games to worry about between now and then ffs..

What do people honestly think Home Ground Advantage means and how it operates/manifests itself? It's not that the home team know where the working toilets are!

Real learning game. We're not a top 4 side based on that performance. But we've got lots of improvement in us.

I think the Dragons might be in for a tough night this week
I see it the complete opposite.
I've always believed the cliche that the way you lose teaches you more about who you are than how you win.
I am never upset when we lose or get draws if we go down fighting and are hard to beat. That is the mark of a Champion.

The Warriors are hard to beat. The Sharks had a tough game to beat us, the Storm were forced to pull out a miracle to win.

And Manly had to hang on for their dear lives to leave Mt Smart with a point, despite like Melbourne having a healthy lead while both clubs were playing well against us.

I see these corrections during games where the Warriors have to come after you as exactly top four behavior.

The only thing that can stop us reaching top four from here is our injury toll, hopefully we are due some luck on that front.

Funny thing is, that draw felt better than our wins this year from my pov.

The problem with this club before Webster came along, is that even in their best seasons, when the Warriors were beaten in games, there was a big drop in effort between their best games in successful seasons and their worsts.

Websters sides are very consistent with effort which is the reason Mt Smart sells out, even after we get thumped by the Panthers, people can see we get beaten on ability, not effort.

Haha check out last weeks Lussick posts on here.....Warrior fans more than capable of throwing some pearlers out lol

.....i notice most have changed their tune now
I'm happy to stand by my comments from last week. The exception may be not agreeing with the send-off. But then should Aloiai have been at least sin binned?

I didn't mention the penalty last week as it was the last play of the game and the game was already lost. The key thing with the media reaction to this week's one is a lot of people are arguing the Aloiai/Johnson one shouldn't have been a penalty.

The accusation Johnson played for it, the commentators need to be careful accusing players. Getting impact to your bone still hurts and he has had lower leg injuries so the initial reaction could have been one of shock after feeling pain. Look he may have played for it but they then forget how much Australians go on about gamesmanship in different sports. They aren't too consistent with their points of view on different incidents (when gamesmanship is ok or shouldn't be part of "our game").

I never thought Lussick should be rubbed out for a long time like people were suggesting 6-10 weeks. It was unfortunate. People were making out it was late like the incidents you see when the kicker has completed the kick and gets pushed over. It was at the same time as the kick. Quite similar to this incident.

My comments have been similar to Websters' both players are doing what they are expected to do with the situation. It is the rules and if you look at last weeks incident the precedent has been set.

How come sj got the penalty kick from right in front of the goalpost instead of where he received the penalty for contact on kickers legs? Or has that always been a rule?
Penalties are always given where the ball lands and I presume this applies to field goals as well. I thought someone must have upset the ref with some foul-mouthed complaint as he appeared to react with a ten metre advance.

Yeah, cos no Sea Eagles player would ever try something less than 100% pure and snow white. I actually agree that Shaun shouldn't have played up, if he did.
But it's like cricket where teams in theory have an agreement where if the fielding team appeal for a catch that isn't obvious to the umpires or Third Umpire, the batsman will take the fielding team's word for it.
That sounds great, but every team's attitude is "We'll except your call as being honest after you accept our call as being honest." So it never actually happens because, understandably, no team wants to put itself at a disadvantage because the opposition were trying it on with the umpire/taking the piss.
I like the - I guess - older folk on that forum who warble on about "It was better with the shoulder charge and the bash" etc etc. Yeah? So you're quite happy to see DCE rubbed out with a shoulder charge that - while perfect and legal by the rules - breaks his jaw in two? No, didn't think so...
Shaun is entitled to stay down to indicate he was fouled.

How did the officials miss the Turbo Knock on in the first half of the warriors vs sea eagles game and if they can have a time limit for taking kicks why cant they have a time limit for opposition to get of a tackled player eg ref calls tackled then time limit to get of player or six again because the refs never call the same for both teams
