NRL NRL Round 6, 2024 Discussion

I think we have another gear from last year with RTS. He is a potential match winner who can turn momentum, something we could have used in the prelim against Brisbane last year.
I think we potentially have a number of gears to go up tbh. We are introducing some of our next generation talent, are ready in the second year of Webster to implement some attacking moves over and above the solid foundation from last year, and we seem to be playing more directly with lots of quality through the ruck. Egan in the middle, SJ on one side and RTS the other is a lot for the opposition to consider. A lot of professional players and experience. A lot of depth. It would be nice to have a gun player like a Walsh with speed to burn, but anything less than top 4 would be disappointing this year. Not inconceivable though, you can't take the opposition for granted in this comp.

last year we perfected our attacking shape. This year we have developed this penrith style possession game to complement our attack from last year. If we can showcase both moving forward, we can do even better than last year. Our full strength side might not be better than the full strength penrith or brisbane at present, but I think our third string side can beat their third string teams.
