I'm ho hum on BHU, not massively upset on missing him, but IMO he's the best currently/previously available prop for 2025. I think we seriously need to look at making a prop within, either converting a Niuokre/Harris or junior. But I suspect there is already a plan in place there. Harris basically can do the exact same job he does atm playing with a 10 on his back, and ideally a Sifakula/Laban becomes a must select in our starting line up to take 13.. I dunno.

There are always contracts thrown out mid season, and boom juniors/rookies who pop up and look for new homes. So I wouldn't panic.

The more I watch Paul Roache, the more I think he’s a dummy half like his brother. Seems hard to stop close to the line. Got a good try in the trial and another in the NZa game in similar fashion. Passing looks fairly decent too.

I’m a fan- not quite sure what happened with him? Seemed a very highly rated junior then fell off a cliff but u can see he’s quality- always catches my eye.
Definitely a 9.
Nrl potential imo- higher ceiling that lussick.

I would’ve taken bhu but purely because there’s no one better available- kinda like the best looking chick left when the bar turns the ugly lights on.
So kinda disappointed but it’s probably for the best in the end.

Has the motor of a Great Wall SUV, give me Royce Hunt or young Willison all day. Turns 30 this year too.

Highly over rated, bit like Talakai, they can play those occasional monster games but consistency meh!

I’m a bit relieved we’ve missed out of BHU, he’s not going to age well and he’s got some injury issues.

When you are signing a player these days a year in advance, particularly for three years it’s not always about the player they are now, its the player they’ll be 2-3 years down the track.

BHU fails that test for me.

Reece might demand highest contract in comp now, I think Cleary and Ponga are on upwards of 1.3 mil, he could be the first 1.5 million dollar man.

Would be awesome to pinch a Te Kura or Willison- problem is that I think we and the Broncos are probably even on the early release IOU’s after Capewell, and with the cap pressure on them, I don’t think they’ll be in any hurry to release a gun on peanuts early
