Jasmin Strange should’ve worn the 6 — still have Broughton, Maliepo, to build something around.
King was also dropped to the bench at the Sharks! I’d get rid of Ricky Henry too and see if Ron wants the gig!

Kiwi Ferns are really just not up to standard.
Starting King over Maliepo & Quinlan was a head scratcher.
In fact, Quinlan & Maliepo at 7 & 6 would of been a better starting halves pairing.
Mele.Hufunga is hella overrated to me. She's lazy. Good power runner and all. I'd prefer Parker at centre, And that young canberra winger to start outside her.
Its hard to find the right balance when the opposition is all roided out freaks

Racine is also lead footed. Under pressure she currently can't beat an oncoming player and reverts to an average kick.
The Ferns do have some exceptional players. They currently look like a throwback to Kiwi men's team where the relied-on power and intimidation.
Developing a spine should be their goal but they have to rely on the NRL teams to help Kiwi players.
