International Pacific Championship

Think he and Haas will defect, perhaps RTS too. They have a good pack already though and Fa’alogo will get better in the fullback role, they need halves.
Something like this.

Payne Hass
Faamanu Brown
Junior Paulo
Tino Fa'asuamaleaui
Jeremiah Nanai
Isaiah Papalii
Dylan Brown
Jarome Luai
Brian Too
Jamayne Issako
Stephen Crichton
Murray Taulagi
RTS

Nelson Asofa Solomona
Moses Leota
Connelly Lemuelu
Faalogo

Holy hecka 😳 Scary pack lol

May not be that many, if the future of the international game is people moving from nation to nation so be it. That is what Tyson Frizzel was alluding to in a recent article, he has played for three countries and says he indentifies as Tongan, Welsh and Aussie. Who knows he may have a Kiwi link since his brother plays for the All Blacks. We really need Origin to loosen up to allow Tier 1s to play. Madge could help.

His brother qualifies for Nz by way of residency, that doesn’t apply to Tyson.

I'm just a "couch coach" but surely a lineup like this is 100x better than what was put out. I understand To'o was out for the Kiwis game but this lineup makes a lot more sense for the Australia game.

1. Fa'alogo
2. Marzhew
3. Tuilagi
4. Crichton
5. To'o
6. Asi
7. Volkman

Forward pack takes care of itself really.
Australia game?
The Kiwi s are playing Australia two weeks in a row
Samoa played Aus a couple of weeks ago

Just looked into the timing of the game for Sat. It shits me the games played at 10:10pm here.

It just (again) shows the arrogance and contempt the NRL has towards Kiwi fans. Yeah there is a lot of talk about supporting and promoting the game here, but this sort of shit just really grinds my gears.

If they really wanted to promote the game here in the best way possible, they would find a timeslot that is suitable to both parties.

So true bro. In saying that if they can hit a big tv rating figure it could ensure more tests and money for internationals in the future. In saying that the Final is a 6pm start which is great

JFH looks like a good future captain for the Kiwis. His experience as captain at the Panthers has made it a no brainer. Our forwards are our greatest strength for sure. A good performance in this series may mean a lot of these guys don't jump ship to Toa or MMT.

Cant imagine leota wanting to break up their partnership either and as long as we got those 2 and tapine in the middle we'll be formidable.
NAS is the icing on top so hopefully he hangs around a while too.

That was quite a buzzy experience attending the match live. Totally outnumbered and out passioned by Toa supporters.

I've hot to say - they totally put the standard NZ sports fan to shame in terms of how deeply they love the team.

We really need to see a Samoa vs Tonga game in Auckland soon. Would be a mind-blowing level of support.

I'm not sure if I have this totally correct or phrased it correctly. But doesn't Auckland have the largest Polynesian population in the world?

League / NRL logic. Let's have Samoa and Tonga play in Sydney mid-year where it's convenient for the NRL in terms of less travel arrangements and time zone for the game. But let's not schedule regular games for them post-season in a city that will pull a large crowd.
