Team List Dolphins vs Warriors - [Round 11, 2025]

Listening to Stacey's interview on Sport Nation, it seems that JFH and Barney are very different types of leaders. Barney is more vocal whereas JFH inspires the young middles through his actions rather than words.

Co-captaining is a very interesting concept.

This is probably one of the few ways that it actually works.

Clark is very vocal during the game and apparently Metcalf has a way with words too.

It appears we have a pretty confident player base with this lot. They know their jobs, they chime in when they are needed and they're navigating each others strengths and weaknesses.

Pretty good signs for the future.

Stacey was on SENZ this week and mentioned that JFH does extras after every training and that three boys always stay with him: Laban, Leka and Demetric.
It was also probably JFH who gave Leka the idea to go blonde if his blonde goatee is anything to go by. 🃏. But jokes aside, these are the three boys that stand to gain the most from Fish's tutelage. Having those boys come through our system and develop together under fish could eventually mirror what we saw at Penrith with Spencer Leniu, Kikau, Liam Martin and the like. Great times ahead.

Also I expect DWZ to be more involved in this game as he was a little passive last week, probably blowing off some cobwebs.
Did anyone notice DWZ hobble then limping away from a hit up in the second half?

Still think he’s not 100% and playing through a bit of discomfort. Probably came back early with our other outside back injuries.

He may be a few weeks from really going a million miles an hour like we know he can.

I really liked what i saw (albeit very briefly) with TMM as first receiver... gave Metcalf way more width - it's like having the team in a second mode, with the first mode being Erin Clark trucking it up the middle
Yeah, I'm not sure we can fit TMM and Tuaupiki in the same back line though. I say that as I can't see TMM being the Lock, that was just because of the injury situation

ugh, RTS at centre is not great ... oh well - lesssgo
The one thing the Dolphins have over most teams in the comp is speed in the centres, with both Farnsworth and the other guy being speed merchants. Then they have Hammer regularly injecting himself in around there 😨. One mistake or being slightly off will easily result in two to three tries. They can be deadly and in quick succession, we cannot play half a game against them, we will need to be competing on offence effectively into the second half to win and we will need good defense out wide.
