Probably not a huge upgrade but his stats are impressive in Queensland cup week in week out, big step up in first grade but his numbers are as good as Bunty’s when he’s gone to nsw cup this year and consistent. Hard to gauge his first grade starts as given limited time and probably given strict instructions to only play his role. Has an offload which would be an upgrade straight away on Bunty. He just played in the final for brisane tigers but unfortunately sin binned. Had those same good numbers in the final thought that has shown all season for tigers.
AFB
Grant
Barnett
Bunty
Zyon Maiu’u
Could be ok as our propping depth.
He didn’t crack Melbourne once this year? So na, their packs not that good eithet

Storm certainly very disappointed to see Jordan Grant go and unsure why he didn’t get more opportunities, they’ve also released Tom Eisenhuth. Their forum reckons there’s a rumour floating around Daniel Saifiti to storm. Also sounds like roosters trying to offload Angus Crichton, he and CHT had a blast last offseason.

Letting Siro go surely we have something for a bench impact prop? D Saifiti would be a worth a shot (is he the bench one?)

What they still need

The Warriors are just about at a full book and may head into 2024 without a single fresh face. That would have been a concern in years gone by, but this time, it's stability that could be excellent for a Warriors outfit who have outperformed all expectations in 2023.

They have had just a single loss so far in Viliami Vailea, and only have a single decision to make on Bayley Sironen.

Whether he earns a new deal or not remains to be seen, as does the potential promotions out of the development squad for the likes of Jacob Laban or Zyon Maiu'u.

Ultimately, the Warriors can hold off doing anything with their final two spots for the time being. This is a strong squad with depth in all the right areas, although there is an argument that a serious injury to Addin Fonua-Blakewould leave them a little short in the front row, so potentially that's where efforts will be focused for spots 29 and 30.

Couple of changes in what’s written here, Kepu gone so 3 spots left. Going to be an interesting offseason season with some teams like the storm having 7 spots to fill. Not a bad assessment though from zero tackle with the odd alteration here and there.

Also I’m pretty sure we took up the Club Option on Tuaupiki, as we didn’t list him in the farewell things?

Did we ever fill our Top 30 in 2023? NRL.coms list was never updated to have more than 28. I wonder if we gave Going and Roache, or similar, a little one off season payday - or upgraded Sifakula and Leiataua early?

Sam Hewat from SENZ done some digging & was told by the club that Leiataua & Zyon Maiu’u filled spots 29 & 30

Say Tuaupiki replaces Kepu at number 28 and Zyon Maiu’u is number 29, with Leiataua listed there at number 27 that would indicate there’s one spot left unless someone like Kalani Going or Paul Roache took number 30.

Just a note that if anyone is looking for it at any point, I am keeping the first post in this thread updated with all of next year's confirmed signings, as well as a list of signings that are yet to be fully confirmed by the club

(e.g. Webster has said that Taine will be the backup fullback next year, but we are yet to have an actual announcement that his option has been activated)

Zerotackle actually did some good research for this article apart from the Kepu thing.

So until Tuaupiki confirmed and Kepu gone, possibly 2 spots left? Unless Going or Roache promoted.
