New Zealand Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck-Sheck will leave the club and rugby league at the end of 2021 to take up a contract in rugby union.

It was confirmed on Saturday that the Warriors would release him from the final year of his contract, allowing the fullback to pursue a career in the 15-man game in New Zealand, with the Blues the frontrunner to secure his signature.

Heading into the 2021 season ‘Roger Tuivasa-Sheck’ has played 178 NRL games and 20 Tests for the Kiwis.
